Original 1960's Heavy Acid Psych Rock LP: The Savage Resurrection Stereo 1st VG+

Rare 1968 original stereo first press by Savage Resurrection.  Record and cover VG+.

12” Vinyl LP, rarely seen in this condition…

Released on the Mercury label (#SR-61156), this is a beautiful - original Stereo copy.  Cuts include "Thing In E", "Jammin", "Expectations", "Talking To You", "Fox Is Sick", "Appeal To The Happy" and more.

Cover is VG+ - NM (there is some minor shelf wear along the bottom edge in back –  cover is now protected by an acid-free Mylar envelope) and Vinyl is VG+ ( a few small scratches here and there, the lint seen in the photos is from my backdrop – so use an appropriate cleaning cloth before playing). Labels: are near perfect (EX), (no stickers, no writing, no fading, only a few very slight spots of rubwear on side 2 !)  The original advertisement-covered inner sleeve in place and intact with just some corner creasing on both sides.  There are ads for other recording artists and for 2 (then) state-of-the-art Mercury portable record players.

KILLER BAY AREA GARAGE PSYCH LP

From Richmond, California, the band formed in 1967 from members of various East Bay garage bands. Based in San Francisco, they were one of the youngest, rawest and punkest psych bands to play the Bay Area circuit. Abe Voco Kesh (early producer for Blue Cheer) "discovered" the band and produced this LP on Mercury Records in 1968.

This one-owner Record is from my personal collection and was purchased by me in 1968.  Seldom played even back then, it hasn’t been touched by a needle for 45 years.

I will package the LP and Jacket separated to minimize the possibility of Jacket damage during shipping.  Despite my care, there may be fingerprints and lint on the LP from the photo taking and from the packing process, so please wipe the vinyl with an appropriate cleaning cloth before playing.  This record is over 40 years old and probably needs cleaning which I do not do as I know people have different approaches to cleaning their LPs,

VG....Still A Nice Record, Looks Used, Light Scratches

No Gouges, Still Plays Well, Some Surface Noise.

VG-......A Bit Rough But Will Play Ok, Fills The Collection.

G..May Play Rough, May Have Multiple Scratches.
