Description

The Beatles' Second Album LP - THE BEATLES (Germany Odeon ZTOX 5558)

Original 1964 German stereo LP. 11 tracks, same track listing as the U.S. counterpart on Capitol. A not-too-common Germany pressed album which, according to the website below, was only distributed to American military bases in Germany for a brief 2 months in 1964. W/ laminated cover featuring the same front cover design as the U.S. 'Something New' LP while the back cover is identical to the U.S. 'Second Album.' Odeon label is white w/ red lettering & a gold band around the edge.

Disc = Side 1 - Looks EX-; Side 2 - Looks VG+; both sides play MUCH BETTER THAN THEY LOOK, SOUNDS GREAT (tiny nick in "She Loves You" causes just ONE lite pop - only audio flaw to be heard) / Cover = front - very slight ring wear, very slight wear in all 4 corners (slightly worse in lower right), very slight right edge wear, a few light lamination cracks along spine edge, scotch tape along bottom edge w/ some pieces that extend into lower front; back - some ring/general wear, 2 very small lite brown spots along top edge, slight cracking near left edge, scotch tape along bottom edge w/ some pieces that extend into lower back; a couple of very tiny cracks & chips in spine  / Labels = spindle marks around centre hole; some discoloration on edge band

All vinyl has been cleaned, all records are graded both aurally and visually. I use NEAR MINT- to NEAR MINT (my highest grade)/EX/VG, w/ +/- variables.
