"Les Beatles Magazine" Issue 3.
From 1964, published in conjunction with the French magazine "Radio TV Week ", this magazine ceased publication after just three issues. Modelled on and using photos from the UK "Beatles Book Monthly", with text in French of course. This is unique to France - the only 'version' of the Beatles Book ever published overseas. The same size as the UK book.
This 32 page issue from October 1964 features the Beatles in "A Hard Day's Night", part 3 of "A Tale Of Four Beatles", fan letters and Beatles news, plus b&w photos. I'm not certain, but some of the photos in this issue are unfamiliar to me and may not have appeared in the UK books. (I have included a French newspaper clipping, which I think is from June 1965).
All books in the series had a fairly small circulation and are now scarce, even in France. This final issue seems the hardest to find of the three editions.
Condition:
This is a lovely book. All pages are complete. It is tightly bound, there a little light wear to cover, and clean inside. No writing!
