This record shop poster would have been sent by the publicity department at EMI records to record stores throughout the UK in the hope of creating record orders. The reality was that most store managers regarded the constant flow of publicity from the various record companies as junk mail and would simply throw most of it away. A few years ago we were fortunate enough to purchase a quantity of unused promotional publicity from an old fashioned record shop which had already been closed for many years and this item is from that collection.
THIS POSTER WOULD LOOK GREAT FRAMED !
CONDITION: In 1966 it was neatly folded once to be placed in the envelope before posting to the record shop and this fold may be noticable in the first photo. This item was never used so there is just the very minimum signs of storage which will not notice at all when framed. The white paper is as bright and white as when first printed and there are no tears, folds are anything else to prevent it being described as in first rate condition.
POST AND PACKING It will be folded along the original fold and packed safely between two pieces of stiff cardboard.
UK: £2 which includes 74p for Recorded Delivery postage and will require a signature upon delivery.
EUROPE: £5.75 which includes £4.25 for International Signed For postage and will require a signature upon delivery.
USA, JAPAN and Worldwide: £6.75 which includes £4.25 for International Signed For postage and will require a signature upon delivery
Any item bought on eBay from us can be collected in person at the shop and of course no P&P charges will be necessary. However the item must be paid for as soon as the item ends just as with any normal transaction requiring posting, and please email us first for an adjusted invoice before paying.
