Description
This is an AUTHENTIC original Beatles album, a USA Stereo pressing of "Yesterday And Today", released in 1966 by Capitol Records ST-2553, this is a vintage 1966 pressing, the "trunk cover" version (not butcher cover).
The heavy vinyl record rates VG, is glossy and clean, has many faint sleeve marks and some light marks, only one small more moderate mark, has been PLAY TESTED, plays from start to finish with very good sound quality, a couple light pops, minimal surface noise and a very enjoyable listen! The hand etched deadwax reads side one ST-1-2553-B14 and tiny "sun" symbol, side two ST-2-2553-A17 and tiny "sun" symbol ( symbol indicates an L.A.pressing).
The vintage cover rates VG+, is clean and has great color with minimal age discoloration, edges and corners show only light wear and binder edge is EX and readable, bottom had split at center (has been neatly glued), no tape, has only a few small faint spot stains (one near Ringo is barely noticeable, see photo), has only faint age discoloration near edges, top front corner has a light rub with a bit of color from another record, no signatures or writing, back cover is clean and bright, great vintage cover with only light wear! Includes a vintage Capitol inner sleeve, small center splits neatly repaired with non-yellowing tape, clean and bright! A must for any serious record collector!
