Description
Rare original UK Track label 1967 pressing of Jimi Hendrix "Axis Bold As Love" - second album. This is the rarer mono version 612003 with the lyric insert poster which was only included in the first 500-1000 copies of the album. In original David King and Roger Law designed laminated gatefold sleeve which is in excellent or close to excellent condition (some very light shelf wear). Rare lyric inner has no rips of tears but some creases to the centre (around its original fold) and the left edge, and small stain but otherwise VG++ or close to EX-. Inner sleeve is original and ex-. Vinyl is sadly not as good probably Good+ visually with a fair few scuffs and light scratches - nothing deep or serious. Vinyl plays through fine but does suffer from some crackle and the odd click through earlier tracks on both sides but reduces as you get further into the sides. May benefit from a professional clean. However, either a good copy to have until a mint one comes along or to buy if you have a nice record but need an excellent sleeve and insert. Offered at a cheap start price given the rarity and value of the insert on its own. Do not miss a bargain!
