Original 1968 The Beatles "White Album" PCS 7067/68 on Apple Records. UK first press Stereo with Top Loading Sleeve.
Up for sale is a very nice record. This is a first press copy of "The Beatles" also known as the "White Album" from 1968. An original UK import record with the original Top Loading fully laminated sleeve. The original UK presses of this album feature numbered sleeves and this sleeve's number is No. 0250734
The original presses of this album did come with a poster and four headshots of the Beatles but unfortunately this album DOES NOT come with those inserts nor does it come with the black inner sleeves.
There are some condition issues with this album. There are a few places where someone wrote on the album cover in what appears to be pen in parts and pencil in others. Writing appears on the top left corner of the back of the album, on the top left corner of the left side of the cover's inside, and by the track list. Besides the writing, this cover does show some signs of wear. There is a partially torn part of the opening side that is apparent on the top middle of the back side of the album cover. As one might expect on an all white cover, there are some parts that have browned over the years. Some ringwear appears on the front side as well as a few stains. The spine is worn but still legible and the seams are all solid and intact. The albums look nice, free of any large or feel-able scratches. There are a few hairlines here and there but for the most part the vinyl looks clean. There is some writing on the label as can be seen in the pictures.
