Description

Up for sale a Vintage David Bowie Rare Black Label ( LSP ) prefix w/Nipper the RCA dog~The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust LP Album.
All flaws are visible in photos. Has clear scotch tape down the left side edge.
Copyright 1972 RCA Records~(Radio Corporation of America)
Album has black label with Iconic Nipper the RCA dog on it. This label was discontinued and replaced with the orange US label and all the other colored labels of the world during the time of this albums U.S. manufacture.
Black labels were the 1st pressings in U.S. and you can Wikipedia RCA Records or go to Every Record Tells A Story How To Buy David Bowie Ziggy Stardust On Vinyl to learn the truth.
So that means that black labels are even less than 1 million than the U.S. orange labels and even more rare.
U.S. Orange labels are not the same as U.K. orange labels. Now that everyone has been screwed buying the US RCA Orange label 2nd pressings thinking they are UK 1st pressings; own this discontinued US Nipper RCA 1st pressing at a decent price.
Stupid people are buying U.S.1976 orange label reissue albums and 80's remake albums with bar codes on them. lol
This is not an 80's reissue which have a bar code in top right corner on back of cover; barcodes did not come out til the 80"s it has the 1972 copyright date on it.
Ask yourself ~ why do you see more orange labels than black labels on eBay? Cause US black labels w/nipper the dog are more rare.
The UK black label reissues have RCA INTERNATIONAL on them with no Nipper the dog.
Album is complete with inside sleeve and instructions on the back to be played at maximum volume. :D
This was Bowie's 5th album and 1st gold album in US, so that means that this is 1 of only a million that were produced in US in 1972.
In 1987 it was ranked #6 of Rolling Stone Magazine's the best 100 albums  of the last 20 years.
If you are a David Bowie fan you must have this one in your music library collection.
Get this history now so you do not have to wait on an end of auction time.
Great for the entertainment room, living area, or bar of your home.
Grab this over 40yr old collectible that is only going to increase in value over time before it is gone forever, especially at this low price cause I only have one.
