Strawberry Pickin's LP - BUREMAN & O'ROURKE (Pearce 42550)
Original 1974 stereo LP. 12 tracks, including: "Genevieve," "86 Proof," "Back Down On The Road Again," "Chanson de L'Oiseau," more. Some fine rural folk-rock sounds from this long-running Kansas City-based duo, their first of 2 LPs released in the mid-'70s. A Brewer & Shipley-like feel on many tracks (albeit less polished), with a few uptempo rockers ("86 Proof," "Back Down On The Road Again") that have a southern rock edge. Cool textured front cover fits the musical vibe perfectly. Disc in SWEEET condition.
Disc = EX+ to NEAR MINT- / Cover = front - just barely the slightest hint of rub wear in upper right corner (near invisible); back - small, lite diagonal crease in upper left corner, small writing in bottom left corner (address); small spine crack in upper corner / Labels = a few faint spindle marks around center hole
