Description
Original 1976 promotional-only EP from KISS, titled A Special KISS Album for Their Summer Tour, released by Casablanca Records to promote the band’s “Spirit of ’76” summer tour following the success of Destroyer.
This is a genuine 12” promo pressing — not a reissue — stamped “Not For Resale” and sent out to radio stations and industry insiders. It was never sold commercially.
Tracklist:
Side 1: Beth / Do You Love Me
Side 2: Flaming Youth / Detroit Rock City
Details:
∙ Label: Casablanca Records, ℗1976
∙ Record Number: KISS ’76
∙ Produced by Bob Ezrin for Rock Steady Inc.
∙ 33⅓ RPM
∙ Plain white paper inner sleeve (as issued)
∙ Custom die-cut jacket with bold black-on-white text
Condition:
Jacket shows honest age and handling — edge and corner wear, a light stain visible on the front panel, and general wear consistent with a 49-year-old promotional item that was actually used, not sealed in storage. Played at a SoCal radio station. Vinyl has a glossy surface with minimal visible marking in photos; please review all pictures closely as they are part of the description. Grading: Jacket VG-/VG, Vinyl VG/VG+ (visual).
A rare piece for serious KISS and Casablanca Records collectors — this promo rarely surfaces on the market. Please see all photos for exact condition and judge accordingly. Feel free to message with any questions before bidding/buying.
Record jacket has and staining and wear. Please see all photos and reach out with any questions you may have.
