Description

Up For Adoption LP - ORPHANN (O.M.I. M-70021) 

Original 1977 U.S. stereo LP. 9 tracks, including: "You What You Do," "Burning Red," "Morning Sun," "Directed," more. Private hard rock/AOR (w/ some lite psych and prog touches thrown in here & there) album, the first of 2 from this long-running Kansas City-area quartet. (Fronted by the MELLENBRUCH brothers, these 2 siblings were on the fringes of the KC music scene forever, dating back to the mid-'60s & their Beatles/Bee Gees-inspired combo, THE JEANS. They were never able to develop much of a following or even play many gigs, for unknown reasons, no matter what band it was.) While their 2nd album seems to grow on trees, as common as it is, this one is a bit tuffer to track down. W/ nice sci-fi artwork on the front cover, & the vinyl in very nice condition, sounds fine. 

Disc = EX to EX+ (downgraded slightly due to very lite fingernail-like scuff on side 2 - NOT AFFECTING PLAY AT ALL - disc plays GREAT)

Cover = front - just barely a hint of ring wear (hard-to-see), very slight wear along 3 edges, small crack along top edge / back - lite ring/general wear, slight wear along left edge / lite cracking along top edge, small chip on top edge, very slight wear on bottom edge, very slight tiny (hard-to-see) cracking on spine

Labels = A-OK, w/ NO spindle marks to be found
