  Original Pressing BILL EVANS TRIO LP  on RIVERSIDE Label 

This auction is for an original, first pressing, mono, silver on blue label with reel and mike logo, RIVERSIDE Records, 1961 release of "WALTZ FOR DEBBY: BILL EVANS TRIO"  RLP 12-399;  complete with deep grooved label.  The trio features:  BILL EVANS - piano; SCOTT LAFARO - bass; and PAUL MOTIAN - drums.

The LP is not play graded but visually I would rate it a VG+ based on Goldmine standards: Disc has retained nearly all of its original luster and looks beautiful.  There are a few very light scuffs from sliding in and out of jacket and normal use but these are minimal and, like I said, light.  Light spindle marks.  The original jacket also looks nice with some light wear.  Front has no writing, stickers, or marks except a 1/2" ding on the opening edge.  The seams look nice with light wear and NO splits.  Very light wear to corners.  Cover back also looks nice.  Small name and date written in pen on upper edge and approx. 1/2" light surface tear on opening edge. Some light toning to white areas.  In general, both record and jacket look great and would be appreciated in a quality collection.  Record ships with, I believe (but not completely sure), original  inner sleeve.    No reserve!
