Description
You are buying an original early 1950's handbill on yellow paper with photo, measuring approximately 8" x 11". This handbill advertises the Detroit vocal group the Mellotones during a long run at Lee's Sensation Lounge and the release of their first 45: Father Time and Prayer of Love. This 45 does exist, but you won't find it listed in any price guide. This is the same Mellotones on Fascination and Gee, at the beginning of their career. This handbill is also of course very rare and their are probably less of these extant than the first 45. This auction is for the handbill only, not the 45, just the paper handbill described here.......The top edge has some tiny tears, the right top and bottom corners have tiny creases, There is an 1/8th horizontal tear on each edge, the bottom edge has some slight wrinkling, and there's a horizontal crease across the middle from being folded in half. This will frame beautifully. A rare addition for the walls or your record room.

Records shipped in professional mailers, LPs outside the sleeve, with cardboard filler pads. I ship as soon as possible, everyday, unless I am on the road.
