”I DON’T CARE IF THE SUN DON’T SHINE” and “GOOD ROCKIN’ TONIGHT” by Elvis Presley, Scotty and Bill Comes with the original SUN RECORDS sleeve that was on it when it came to me. A PRODUCT OF SUN RECORD CO., INC. MEMPHIS TENNESSEE. The record lable is good+ and sleeve is in good condition. The recorded area shows typical scratches/wear for record of this age. It plays fine and would display super!

The matrix numbers on this record are: U-130-45 (1/2 inch space) 72 and U-131-45 (1/2 inch space) 72. The method of distinguishing 1950’s Suns from the 1970’s Suns is to look at the last two digits of the serial number in the trail-off - the 72 on the first four Suns, the 20 on the fifth. On the originals (50's), the last two digits are approximately ½ inch from the other digits. On the 1970's Suns, the distance is doubled, to just over an inch. This detail identifies the record as an original from 1954 and not the later reproduction.

This is an original 1950’s record having all the correct markings so, bid with confidence.
