Totally Genuine, Complete and Original

This extremely desirable ‘60’s classic is in excellent condition and will adorn any discerning collection. Although of great rarity, copies do become available, but only occasionally does the opportunity arise for a copy to become available in such superb condition as this album from my personal collection.
I saw Led Zeppelin at the Free Trade Hall, Manchester in 1969 and bought this album around the same time. As with all my possessions, it has been well looked after and will take pride of place amongst any discerning collection.
The fully laminated and complete original1st pressing Turquoise cover is in superb condition with no yellowing/discoloration or staining; there are no splits or tears and only minor creasing. The external cover is devoid of any writing or labels and does not display any ‘grubbiness’ whatsoever (note: I wrote Dek on the inside, see photo). The spine text is perfectly legible and the edges are in excellent condition. I would strongly suggest that such is the condition of this 1st pressing album cover, that few equals are now available in such a desirable condition.
Naturally the highly sought after attributes of this album are evident i.e. front cover grey strip, Uptight an’ Outasight reference, Printed and made by MacNeil Press Ltd.
As a 42 year old album, the item is obviously not mint but I feel that it fully merits the Record Collector classification of excellent (Definition: EXCELLENT (EX) - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/ or creasing)
The vinyl has a clear bright sheen; some minor surface marks are evident when held to the light but do not affect the playability. There are no skips, pops or clicks and a minimum of crackling; consequently the classic tracks are not compromised. Matrix Numbers : 588171 B //1 1S and 588171 A //1 1 2 (crossed out 2nd 8).
Obviously, the album is on the plum (purple and red) Atlantic label with the Superhype/ Jewel Music credits. On side one, I wrote my name (see photograph). The inner sleeve is the original (U.K. Patent No. 1,072,844 & Foreign Patents Pending) and is in excellent condition (I have neatly written my first name in the top left corner, see photo).
