Original Led Zeppelin II Robert Lugwig Record Album 1st Press RL SS SD 8236. LED ZEPPELIN II ROBERT LUDWIG 1969 RL SS (on both sides) HOT MIX INSANELY RARE~
Original First Pressing. Less than 200,000 copies exist. Of the 200,000, 95% of them are in horrible shape because they are 52 years old and Led Zeppelin fans were harder on their albums than Beatles, Pink Floyd, Rush, Elvis etc…
The side 1 does have small hair line scratches but overall it’s in good condition, side 2 does have a scratch that’s pretty visible (Please See Pictures). Tested both sides and side 2 does have some pops but is drowned out by the music. Physically it shines see the photos. Notice that the run-out groove or dead-wax area of side two is very small. It is estimated that less than 20,000 of these exist. *Note: both sides have RL stamped, and both sides have the SS for Sterling Studios making it even rarer. This one also has a very unique/unusual triangle/prism (Dark Side of the Moon had not been released yet, at the time).

Great starter album for someone curious as to what all the hype is about. This might be considered a gateway drug, leaving you wanting more to buy a $400 better copy.
The album cover is hard to grad because it’s better than 90% of the ones you’ll find on an original pressing that is 52 years old. It does have a seem split that is about 3 inches long but it’s in pretty good condition nonetheless. If you’re interested and have questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
