Description
Original Soundtracks 1 is a studio album recorded by rock band U2 and Brian Eno under the pseudonym Passengers as a side project. Released on 6 November 1995, the album is a collection of songs written for mostly imaginary films (the exceptions being songs for Ghost in the Shell, Miss Sarajevo, and Beyond the Clouds). Owing to Eno's involvement as a full songwriting partner and the album's experimental nature, the moniker "Passengers" was chosen to distinguish it from U2's conventional albums. It was commercially unnoticed by the band's standards and received generally mixed reviews. Guest musicians on the record included Italian opera singer Luciano Pavarotti (on "Miss Sarajevo") and producer Howie B, who would co-produce U2's following album, Pop (1997).

I have added some more pictures today (28/01/2024, to show the corners and back edge of the sleeve from different angles.
I have also included an additional pictures of the record from both sides. I cannot see any scratches of any kind on either side.
To be ultra critical. I have included a photograph that shows a tiny blemish mark, 2mm long. Which looks like it has been manufactured that way. That is (only just) visible on the 2nd track of side 2 “Slug”.
Please check all the photographs before placing any bids.
Please note: I bought this record 2nd about 5 years ago and have never played it. I have no knowledge of the playing / non playing history before I bought it.
If anyone that has already placed a bid and would like to retract it because of the additional photographs and information , I fully understand.
On 29-Jan-24 at 14:18:19 GMT, seller added the following information:I confirm that I have received an additional question today, with regards to the blemish mark that I highlighted yesterday. Relating to if the mark affects the sound quality in any way?
For this reason, I have now played the specific track in question. I confirm that I did not notice any variation to the sound or quality of the track.
As before. If anyone would like to retract their bid after this latest information, I fully understand.
