Description

s/t LP - ART BLAKEY AND THE JAZZ MESSENGERS (Blue Note BLP 4003)

Original U.S. MONO LP. 6-track, self-titled classic by these legends from 1958, also known as 'Moanin',' the opening cut on side 1. 6 tracks, including: "Along Came Betty," The Drum Thunder (Miniature) Suite," more. RVG & ear in dead wax, 47 West 63rd address on side 2 label, NO address on side 1 label (see pic). 43 West 61st St address on back cover. I believe this would be a 1962-1966 pressing, based on this info. Vinyl in FABULOUS condition - plays superb! Includes original record company inner paper sleeve

LP = EX+, sounds GREAT (one lite fingernail-like scuff - NOT AFFECTING PLAY - across side 2 is the only thing preventing this from being graded NEAR MINT-)  / Cover = VERY NICE - following flaws are QUITE MINOR - front looks GREAT - a few lite cracks along spine, 1 lite crack to the right of ART's left cheek, slight right edge wear, top & bottom left corner wear; back - slight ring/cover wear, lite stain in lower right corner, tiny (1/4") tear in lower left corner; 4 small chips, left upper seam; 3/4" seam split, lower right corner; 2 chips on lower seam; 1" edge wear on lower seam; spine - 1 very small, lite chip  / Labels = SWEET; a few very faint spindle marks around center hole, a couple that extends to label edge on both sides, but almost invisible

Long-time vinyl fiend here. Grading is very strict & satisfaction is guaranteed, bid/buy with confidence. I use NEAR MINT- to NEAR MINT (my highest grade)/EX/VG, w/ +/- variables. No excessive shipping or 'handling' charges - buyer will pay approximately what the USPS charges me for shipping, give or take a bit. If I overcharge you excessively for shipping, you will be reimbursed the overage.
