Goldmine Vinyl Grading Key:
M = Mint (nearly perfect in every way. I would probably grade something that is sealed as mint).
NM= Near Mint (I would use this grade for a nearly new LP that has been opened, but never played, or played one or two times).
EX = Excellent (This is the grading I prefer to use on older LPs)
VG+ = Very Good Plus (These LPs have a few blemishes, but are still in really great shape. Maybe minor corner or edge wear on the jacket is visible. The inner sleeve might have a crease or two. The vinyl has some very faint marks or scratches, but they don’t affect playback. The inner labels might have a spindel mark, but nothing major kind of thing).
VG = Very Good (A step down from VG+. Maybe the LP jacket has a split, or the inner sleeve has a split, or a small tear. The LP might have a small scratch or two that doesn’t affect playback. Also, LPs might have a slight pop that doesn’t overpower the music and is not noticable and devalue the LP).
G = Good (Good is still a decent LP, I don’t sell a lot in this condition)
P = (Poor doesn’t necessarily mean bad. I generally don’t sell anything in poor condition).
Note: The words above are my honest opinions in terms of Goldmine Magazine vinyl LP grading standards. I am NOT an expert, but I do like vinyl LPs, and learning about them.
I ship to U.S. locations only. I ship same day, or the following day using USPS Media Mail. LP cardboard mailers + cardboard inserts and 12" x 12" bubble wrap sheets for added protection for a safe and secure delivery. If you have any questions, please send me a message here on eBay. Thanks for stopping and looking!
LP jacket condition:VG+ (Very Good Plus) The jacket is still in pretty decent shape for being a former library copy. This copy belonged to the Kankakee Library and there is a red “Withdrawn” stamp on the back cover. The front cover still has remnants from the library (an identifier that could be carefully removed). The jacket is still clean, very minor corner wear, and a few creases. There is a small hole in the center of the jacket and is also visible on the Side 1 of the LP. I am curious to know why it was put there? It just seems out of character for an LP, but I don't think it distracts from the originality.
Inner sleeve (plastic/paper): Paper. The original inner paper sleeve is still inside. It has yellowed a bit, and has some creases. No splits, rips, or tears.
Vinyl LP condition: VG+ LPs aren’t manufactured like these anymore. This LP is still glossy, the inner labels clean. There are some noticeable scratches on both sides, but these should not affect playback of the LP. There is a "PROPERTY OF KANKAKEE PUBLIC LIBRARY" on Side 2, but it could be carefully removed.
