Description

I have for sale an original 1969 poster advertising the Progressive Blues Festival, which took place on the 26-27 September 1969 at the Pavilion Gardens, Buxton. This was an all night Blues 'Festival' in Buxton (8:00pm until 7:30am), which was headlined by Fleetwood Mac. Other bands billed were, East of Eden, Edgar Broughton, Glass Menagerie and Spirit of John Morgan. The poster is mounted on 2mm thick card backing. The poster is in good/reasonable condition for its age (please refer to the photos). There are signs of creasing where it was glued to the card backing and wear to the edges with one small tear to the lower right edge and a worn edge on the left side middle section (please refer to photos). This is a rare collectors item. It measures 24.5 x 74cm (9 5/8 x 29 1/4).
