Description
Original Animated Egg self-titled LP from 1967 on the exploitation Alshire label.
The best of the exploitation genre. The "band" on the front cover is just some stock photo the label co-opted to fool the public. But, if you dig fuzz guitar, this is the record for you. All 10 tracks (all instrumentals with great-awful titles like "Sippin' and Trippin'" and "I Said, She Said, Ah-cid") explode with heavy, mind-blowin' fuzz.
Seriously, if you haven't heard it already, you shouldn't be disappointed as this is great heavy psych music that stands on its own. I don't usually hype my records; it's just that this is one of my personal favorites.
Stereo. Canada pressing. Comes with Exc Alshire inner factory sleeve -- tough to find because the cheap-o label generally used white sleeves or, more often, no sleeve at all!
