Oriole UK 7" 45-CBA 1863 The Miracles 'Mickey's Monkey' pro cleaned and play tested. New (repro) Oriole sleeve plus a spare.


As per listing title, this is a rare original UK 7" on Oriole which predates Motown/Tamala Motown and is credited to 'The Miracles' and not Smokey Robinson and the Miracles.

It has been vacumn cleaned on a VPI record cleaning machine and comes in a mint (repro) Oriole sleeve. A spare repro sleeve will be included in the package.


'Mickey's Monkey' is of  course and absolute classic and written by Holland-Dozier and on the B - side, the wonderful 'Whatever makes you happy' written by Smokey Robinson and fellow Miracle Ronnie White.


This 45 has been play tested and although of course showing signs of age, plays remarkably well. An easy Good+  but more like a VG+ considering it's age, very little crackle.

Tested on a Hacker Grenadier record player with new stylus and sounds amazing.
