Description
This is Atlantic Records 1365, John Lewis, Jim Hall & Gunther Schuller Present Jazz Abstractions, a red and violet label, original mono issue, with the logo on the right side in a black square, from 1960. These all-star sessions feature Eric Dolphy, Ornette Coleman, Bill Evans and Scott LaFaro amongst others. The record is in near mint condition, showing very little signs of wear. It plays quietly throughout. The labels are excellent. The original glossy cover is near mint as well, but with a small bump on the lower right. This is an excellent copy of this original collectible classic record.offered without a reserve. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be offering in the next few months. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping on multiple orders. International customers, please wait for an invoice, or contact me about combined shipping rates as Ebay does not provide accurate numbers. Thanks for looking.
