Description
This is Atlantic Records 1317, Ornette Coleman The Shape Of Jazz To Come, an orange and purple, black fan label early mono issue (from 1962), of this famous free jazz session. The record is in VG+(+ ) (a strong VG+) condition, showing light marks at the end of side 1, (otherwise clean), and playing quietly throughout. The glossy (original!) cover (with the 157 West 57 Street, New York 19, New York address) shows a small hole punch but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent as well with no spindle marks. The record has been cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12.
