Description
Very rare jazz LP on the Atlantic label: Ornette Coleman - "The Shape of Jazz To Come" (Cat. #1317, Mono). The label is the red and purple white fan label with deep grooves on both sides.
PLAY GRADED, as this is from my personal collection. The LP is graded at VG++: There are hardly any aesthetic marks, and the ones present have no affect on play, and there is certainly nothing I can feel with a fingertip pass. It plays with negligible background noise, and sometimes none at all. The laminated jacket is in NM condition. It has the 'frame' construction. There is essentially no seam wear, a small amount of ringwear, and there are initials in red marker on the top left of the back. See images.
Grading scale: NM, VG++ (same as EX), VG+, VG, VG-, G+, G. The goal is that a VG LP will be acceptable to most listeners, and a VG+ LP will be acceptable to all but the pickiest of collectors.
