Description
An album I bought in 1971 because of my love for drums and this album did not disappoint. However I only ever played it once or twice and I have carefully stored it for over fifty years. As described it is full of criss-cross rhythms that explode with happiness. Many vinyl fanatics, me included, have a tendency to buy lots of vinyl albums and then have a problem with deciding which ones to play at any time. On this basis my Osibisa album was not played as I prioritised other albums by Led Zeppelin, Cream, Hendrix etc. It is an original first pressing with the Pink/Orange Dog Bone labels without publishing credits. The album was produced by Tiny Visconti and the sleeve printed by Robert Stace. Having play graded the album I can confirm there are no pops or clicks and there is virtually no surface noise between tracks or during the quiet passages. On this basis I am happy to classify the album as NM. As can be seen the labels are as new and there is no spindle wear. Matrix/Runout (Stamped Side A) 7-LNMG 236-1L Matrix/Runout (Stamped Side B) 7-LNMG 237-1L The outer cover is unmarked and crease free and the only blemish is slight wear to the spine although the writing is still legible. The original inner sleeve is included with just natural signs of aging and I have replaced it with a modern, protective inner sleeve to look after the vinyl.
