7” Otto Donner Element All-Stars: Haka Blues / KALLE HOLMBERG: Marski Marssi
Issued on Love Records black label, no code on label, LRS 019 / LRS 1001 machine stamped on dead wax area respectively, in the early 70’s in Finland.
An odd version of Haka blues. Music is the same, as on the actual pic sleeve single promoting housing. This is a different release, however, a private issue also including the track “Marski Marssi”, a song mocking the Finnish WWII Marshal Mannerheim. It’s the track intended to be the 1st single on politically left wing Love Records label in 1966, LRS 1001, but the plan was finally withdrawn probably because of the politically sensitive contents (especially in 1966 in Finland). So the song was released only some years later as a private black label pressing combined with “Haka Blues”. The run was very short, only 100 pcs. So you must be very lucky, if you find it in any condition.

disc VERY GOOD- appears well played, worn, when studied under bright spotlight, but not abused, some scuffs and lines, all superficial, no scratches, so playback is very nice, “Haka Blues” plays great, I would say about EXC playback, on “Marski” side only few occasional background pops or tics , nothing dramatic, no repeating noise, no clicks
