Otto Klemperer Beethoven Symphony No1 And 8 1st Pressing Original Columbia Light Blue/Silver Label SAX 2318.Symphony No1 In C Major And Symphony No8 In F Major.
Cover: In excellent condition with laminated front having the original EMI stereophonic recording sticker.Next to no edge or corner wear and front opening edge also being excellent.There is an extremely faint ring wear mark to front.The rear is excellent having just some light browning mainly towards opening edge.The record also comes with the original poly lined inner sleeve.Very hard to find in this condition nowadays.
Record: Generally in excellent condition.Plays beautifully crisp and clear with just the very occasional minor background noise on quieter parts and the very occasional faint tick also on quieter parts.On testing the record,i did find that there was a very small jump approx a third of the way through on side 1.I do re test my collection on a player that has a very light arm,but i also have a more expensive one with a properly balanced arm.On trying it on this one,it did not jump at all,which leads me to believe that it may just be my cheaper player.There are no other jumps or sticks.The record also still retains a super glossy shine and both labels are near mint.All in all this is still a super example of a much sought after collectable item.I have decided to start at what i think you will agree is a very low price.Thank you for your time and interest and happy bidding.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
