DETAILS:
1960 blue/silver label original 1st press with gold stereophonic label on sleeve. Symphony No.25 in G minor, K.183 and Symphony No.40 in G minor. Performed by the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Otto Klemperer.
GRADING:
Cover - Very Good
Light wear to front laminated cover.
The front edge of the sleeve opening of the front laminated sleeve has sellotape attached all along it.
The rear sleeve has some sticker residue/sleeve lifted where the previous owner had a sticker on it near the top right hand corner, see photographs.
There is a date written on the rear sleeve just below the top flipback.
Record - Very Good
The labels are clean and free from writing etc.
Generally plays excellently except track 2 side 2 which has a small mark which causes some crackling/pops at the start for about 15 seconds.
Matrix numbers are YAX 104-2 and YAX 105-4.
Our grading is based on the system used by Record Collector magazine as described below (We don't sell records with a grading of less than very good).
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
