Description
Over 10,000 7" singles for sale. Private collection ranging from 1960 to 1990. I am relunctantly selling my collection of records, these are all in at least good condition, ranging up to excellent condition, most of them however are at least very good to excellent. Many ( especially those from the 80's) have their original covers, many have picture sleeves, the others (about 35%) have cardboard sleeves this is a collection of rare to commercially available singles, far far too may I'm afraid to list. This is a vast collection of singles which would make someone an ideal business opportunity in either a shop or car boot business, or like me a collector who wants to start off with a hobby with a big start. The real commercial have to have a retail value of at least 50p, and the older rarer ones ( and there are lots) up to several pounds and more each.
I am listing these at over 10000, that I'm sure off there could easily be a 1000 on top of this number, they will work out free!.
Ok here comes the nitty gritty...I really do not have any idea as to how much these will raise on Ebay, and although as my history will show I do use Ebay I am not happy with all the terms and conditions, hence please note the following, NO RESERVE I dont think there should be a charge for putting a reserve on, plus the end of term frantic bidding, how many of us have lost out because we are not sitting at our computers? so please take note. I will withdraw this item the day before Ebays 's official ending time, I will then offer it to whoever is the highest bidder who has reached a fair price, this will give everyone a fair opportunity so there is nothing to lose by placing your bid early, as once it is withdrawn I will not accept any late bids. Please note I will not split this collection, so please do not ask. There are two shelving units as shown in the two photo's both of these will be thrown in if required. There are more records however than are shown on the shelving, these are currently stored in proper commercial sized record cases, these will not be included.
All of these records can be inspected prior to the end of the auction, and although a visual inspection should suffice as far as vinyl is concerned I will also make sure there is a record deck ( what's one of those!!!) to play them on. We are based in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
Please feel free to email, but please do not ask if you can select part of the collection, sorry but definatley no, as it is the valuable and rare ones which I think make this a collectors, or sellers collection. Also as stated there are far too amny to search through, so I'm sorry but please do not ask me to search through them all. as I have sated you are more than welcome to come and take a look for yourself.
Transport will be a real problem, believe me over 10,000 singles takes up a lot of space, I have a van, and I am prepared to deliver, email me with a postcode if you think you will need this and I'll give you a quote.
Finally, as my essay draws to an end!! please remember you are bidding to buy not to view, all inspections must be carried out prior to my withdrawal date.
