I bought both of these from my local record store. I rarely played them, only on occasion maybe a handful of times each. Blizzard of Ozz has some light scratching on both sides. I thought this was strange since I bought the record brand new. These picture discs were never factory sealed so my guess is someone played them and returned them before me. Side A of Blizzard looks pretty good, but the first song always skips on my turntable on the same part. I had a cheap player so it may have been a result of that. I did a little research and found out that some cheap turntables don’t play picture discs well. I really think it just needs cleaned well and it should be ok. The scratching is hard to see unless you look at the record under a light and tilt it around to see them. Side B of Blizzard looks like it has more scratches than A, but again you have to look at them under a light. Side B never skipped. I have to sell these “AS-IS” but I really think if you clean Blizzard and have a good turntable it will play fine. I just chalked the skipping up to my cheap turntable.
Diary of a Madman played fine the few times I played it. But again, both sides have light scratching if you examine it under the light. I think the same thing happened to this one where it was probably bought by someone, played, and returned. I take great care of all my stuff and handle and store everything I own with great care so there is no way the scratches came from me playing it or mishandling it. Again, I am selling both records “AS-IS” but I really only encountered any issue with side A of Blizzard. All lyric sheets and original inserts are with both records.
I will ship these in a Whiplash mailer to make sure they arrive safely. Thanks for looking and good luck.
