Description
I am selling my classic Diary of a Madman picture disc. I bought this record in New Zealand back in the 80s and It has been in my collection ever since. Note that this is the cool looking cover when Ozzy looks like a mad wizard not the later version when he looks like he is a demented lion. I have not played the record for over 25 years so figure it is time to pass it on to a collector. The record is in great overall condition for its age, but seeing as I am not an expert on grading vinyl I have indicated it as Good. The pics I have listed are pretty high resolution and if you hover over them any flaws should be apparent and should be the basis of your appraisal of condition. I recall it plays pretty well, though I'm guessing at this time you wouldn't be buying it to play due to its age and rarity. It did get a bit of playing years ago before I scored myself a regular black vinyl copy (and then ended up getting the CD). From memory, I recall it plays through without skipping though the vinyl quality is a bit crackly and inferior in sound to the black record IMO. I haven't played it for ages and no longer have a turntable attached to my stereo to test it. The sleeve is in good nick, with just a few minor light creases and some rubbing on the corners (pictured). The colours on the pic disc are still sharp. It should be a great score for any collector of Ozzy or rare metal vinyl. I will post the record registered requiring signature so it gets to you ok. Happy bidding...
