Description
The rare, original vinyl issue of P J Harvey's album Is This Desire?, 1998 UK release.
Island Records ?– ILPS 8076/524 563-1
I bought this on release back in the day. It has been well looked after in smoke and pet-free homes.
As you can see from the photos, the outer sleeve has slight wear around the edges, small creases in the upper corners, and some visible surface staining/ring marks visible on the front. Otherwise very good condition.
The inner sleeve retains nice sharp corners and is in excellent condition with no marks or creases.
The vinyl has some slight marks/scuffs and plays very well. There is some light surface noise, but no loud pops, scratches or skips.
Following the discogs.com grading guidelines I rate the record as follows: Outer Sleeve VG Inner Sleeve VG+ Vinyl VG+
Also included is an attractive promotional colour postcard for the album. I can't remember where I got this from, probably it was through the official mailing list, or else came with one of the 7" singles.
If you require more photographs please get in touch and be specific about what you would like to see. As this record generally sells for a lot of money I hope to reassure the buyer as much as possible that they know what they are getting.
(Please also note blurry grey blobs in the photos are due to a bit of fluff in my camera.... sorry!)
