Title: Paganini / 24 Caprices Op.1. - Perlman/violin

Original stereo US-pressing from 1972 on ANGEL, A-36860. Extensive liner-notes on the back. Contains the original ANGEL innersleeve. On his recording debut for ANGEL, a 26-years-old I.Perlman performs beautifully on unaccompanied violin.

Line-up: Itzhak Perlman / unaccompanied violin

Tracks: Paganini / The 24 Caprices, Op.1 side 1: Nos. 1-4 – Nos. 5-8 – Nos. 9-12 side 2: Nos. 13-16 – Nos. 17-20 – Nos. 21-24

Condition: the record looks & plays in mint- with one exception: there is a tiny pressing-bubble between No.20 and No.21 causing 5 low tics between both tracks. The cover is still in its open shrink, mint-.

Grading & Cleaning:

• the record has been cleaned on my professional HANNL record cleaning machine

• after that I playgraded it (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN:TU-3 Super Fine Line ( please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment )

• I also visually graded the record under a strong light

• only an unplayed record is mint, the highest grading for a used record is mint- ! My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg.

• cleaned records are stored in a new deluxe innersleeve and they are placed in a new PVC protection-sleeve !
