On 2 December 1991, Factory Records released their own anthology: Palatine, The Factory Story / 1979-1990.
This copy was bought just less than two weeks later - appropriately in HMV Manchester.  The dated receipt is included in the box set.
The release is named after Palatine Road: the address of the Factory Headquarter at the time.
This is a rare set - especially on vinyl - and the vinyl (and booklet) are in near mint condition - seemingly unplayed.  The box has no splits and just moderate age toning.
The set consists of 4 vinyl LPs - each with its own sleeve and inner sleeve - plus a 35 page booklet - all housed in card box.

The vinyl looks unplayed but, since the set is not sealed, I am describing the LPs as near mint.  The box is EX - some age toning but in solid condition.  No splits.

CONDITION AND GRADING NOTE:

I aim to be accurate with my gradings.  I have been buying and selling records for over 40 years so have experience in identifying and describing condition of vinyl.  My feedback reflects the fact that I try very hard to deliver a good buying experience.
Unless otherwise stated, all the records I sell are previously owned and used.  They are visually - not aurally - graded using, as a guide, the Record Collector system.  If I am in doubt about the condition of the record, I do not list it.
RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD:  The record has been played to the point where the sound quality may have noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR:  The record is still playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
