PALE SAINTS

SLOW BUILDINGS

4AD CAD 4014

SCARCE ORIGINAL U.K. VINYL!

UNPLAYED!

A scarce opportunity to bid for this original U.K. pressing of Pale Saints' album, 'Slow Buildings',

on the hugely collectable 4AD label! Bought new in a sale, shortly after release, it has just been carefully

stored, unplayed, ever since!

Sleeve: Thick card with the front cover showing a colour photo of the band, apparently in a giant bathroom, with three

members on the edge of a massive bath, and the other on what looks like a large shelf! The band name is in visually-

textured 'excluded' capitals, within a white block across the centre of the cover. The album title is in white lower-case

letters, emerging from the top of the white block. The band name appears in the same emerging format, upside-down,

on the underside of the block. The back cover has a grey-ish background, with 3-D images of the letters 'P' and 'S'

filling most of the space. Two smaller 'P' and' S', in white, are shown, top-right. Faint blue images of at least three of

the band members can be seen, with the shapes getting less distinct from left-to-right. The band name and album

title appear on a blue block towards the top, in the same format as on the front cover, but this time with the album

title underneath. Track listing is left-to-right, in line with the bar, but is printed at ninety degree to the text on the bar.

The barcode (5 014436 401411) is shown at the end/bottom of track 9, with the catalogue number underneath and

the label logo, top-right of the code. The sleeve is in brilliant condition for 20 years of age! It is intact, with no tears,

repairs or notations and no appreciable wear to the edges! There are what look like the merest of bumps on the

top-left and bottom-right corners (as viewed from the rear), which I mention for accuracy as they are barely visible!

Aside from these very minor issues, the sleeve is in awesome condition!

Inner Sleeve: Thin card picture bag, printed both sides. One face has a colour photo of the band, superimposed

against a green-blue image of a large 'fridge and freezer compartment! Again, the colour bar appears, this time

in maroon, with the band name on top and the album title in the bar, twice - once in capitals, the other in lower-case.

It also appears on the underside of the bar, upside-down. Eight white, random, letters, in four pairs, including 'GN'

and 'cb' are also in the image. The rear face has a white background with four small colour photos of the band

members, all of them seemingly in 'giant' surroundings. The band's initials appear in grey, behind the photos

and album credits. The sleeve is intact, but does show a couple of partial ring marks on each side, which don't

break the surface.

See below for details of postage costs for this item.

This is just one item from my own extensive and eclectic personal collection of music and related bits and pieces which I will be listing over the next few months, or so.

I have been collecting for more than 30 years, so check back regularly to see what other gems I may have unearthed - they won't be listed in any particular order! My

recent absence from eBay has been because of work commitments but, as they seem to have dried up, I will be spending more time disposing of my collection!

I am not a dealer, so won't use traditional grading terms but, instead, will describe each item as carefully and honestly as I can with text and photos. Bidders are then free

to form their own opinions. Any apparent marks showing in the photos are reflections or dust, etc., unless otherwise specifically identified. If in doubt, please contact me

with any queries before bidding and I will get back to you promptly with an answer. I will also keep you informed throughout the whole eBay process.

All vinyl will be packaged in sturdy cardboard mailers with at least one stiffener and will be despatched within 2 working days of payment being received. PayPal is preferred,

but please contact me before bidding to discuss alternative, acceptable methods. Postage rates: UK Standard - 2nd Class £3.50, Europe/R.O.T.W - AirMail Standard

£7.50/£11.60.

Please note that I do not combine postage. All items are packaged and sent individually, so as to minimise damage and/or loss.

Thanks for looking and Happy Bidding!
