The debut album from South Walian punk rock sorts Panic Shack is released via the London-based label Brace Yourself Records. The group have steadily built a following in the months and years that have passed since their first singles (2020) and are striking whilst the iron is hot with this one. Playing live in all the right spots throughout the UK has played into their hands and fortunately for us home listeners, they capture the high octane thrills of their live show with a no nonsense production putting the punchy four-piece punk dynamics at the forefront. Singer Sarah Harvey's strength comes in her ability to sing authentically in her own accent and reframe the togetherness and playfulness that Spice Girls had but reframe it in jangly garage rock indie and punk.
