PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
OFF-THE-CHARTS RARE original red label first pressing of Pantera's debut LP from 1983(!) on the band's own Metal Magic Records label pressed on BROWN TRANSLUCENT VINYL with the original mail-in fan club/merchandise order form insert sheet!!! LP is VG with some light scuffs and cover is VG as well with a few light creases and some very light edge wear. What puts this particular copy over the top is the fact that it has been SIGNED by every original member of the band including the late Dimebag Darrell (or Diamond Darrell, as he signed on the rear - this was WELL before their radical style shift with Phil Anselmo and the Cowboys From Hell album) and dated by Terry Lee on the front in 1985!!! Darrell signed next to his image in the group photo on the left side of the rear cover as someone inscribed "Richard Rocked To The Max w/ The Boys" next to his & Terry's image on the right! Terry Lee signed his real name on the front, not Terry Glaze as he's listed on the rear, and inscribed "Rock Fucking Balls" above his name! I bought this LP in the mid-late 90s at a place here in Chicago called Groovin' High after the band had achieved worldwide stardom and I cringingly paid a hefty sum for the time ($75.00) but I collected them and this was a one-of-a-kind LP. Even has the original price and info tags from the store on the protective poly outer sleeve! A fully signed first pressing of the band's debut LP. Don't sleep. As Pantera rarities go, it doesn't get much better than this.
