Parálisis Permanente - Los Singles - LP
You are bidding on a new copy of Parálisis Permanente's Los Singles collection on limited edition import vinyl.
Parálisis Permanente were pioneers of the Spanish post-punk scene, precursors of the "dark sound" of the Movida Madrileña counter-cultural movement. The band ended after an auto accident on the way to a festival claimed the life of founding member Eduardo Benavente. Their cult following grew over the decades, and Parálisis Permanente are now recognized as goth-punk godfathers, achieving posthumous critical acclaim and Record Store Day reissues.
Los Singles collects the group's 7" EP output, including single versions of three songs that later appeared on their lone LP, El Acto ("Adictos de la lujuria," "Tengo un pasajero" and the title track). Featuring the anthem, "Unidos," which was the opening number from their Quiero Ser Santa EP and later covered by Tex-Mex punks Deskonocidos.
