PARAMOUNT BLIND LEMON JEFFERSON'S "THAT BLACK SNAKE MOAN N0. 2" AND " TIN CUP BLUES" . 12756. Because this is such an important record I have undertaken its repair. It now plays well without skipping. Of course you can hear the repair as a toe tapping background sound. The crack was repaired using a jig made by sizing an embroidery hoop with thumb screw. Another record of the same side was used as a spacer. A small line of Weldbond Glue (water soluble) was worked into the crack. Then the record was placed in the jig with waxed paper top and bottom and weighted with a couple books letting it dry for 24 hours. Clean up excess glue with a Q-tip. Playing the record several times help to remove any further residual glue. The jig was placed on a glass topped piece of plywood. I can promise hours of pleasure playing this record. I ship valuable records sandwiched between foam core and floated in a 6 x 12 x 12 inch box.
