Aaahhh... nothing like taking a 1960s Reprise LP out of the sleeve and looking at its... huh? Blue and silver label?!?
Oh, that's right--this is the super-scarce CANADIAN issue of this fab-gear late gem of girl group sounds.
This 1967 LP united two survivors of the PHIL SPECTOR "Wall of Sound"--arranger/producer JACK NITZSCHE and the trio of the Paris Sisters, who achieved a Top Ten smash with the haunting "I Love How You Love Me" in 1961.
In the waning days of the girl group sound, The Paris girls and Nitzsche created a dynamite blend of sunshine pop, the sisters' uniquely breathy vocal style, and a more up-to-date "now" selection of tunes and sounds. Several songs were penned by the youngest Paris, Priscilla, and the album also includes gems by Goffin & King, Mann & Weil and Bacharach & David. Great late girl-group genre achievement from all parties concerned--including co-producer JIMMY BOWEN.

Condition:
JACKET: Delicate, sun-kissed colors are mellow and bright. Cutout hole to upper left corner. Staining/discoloration to top edge of sleeve. The stain makes a ring with the usual ringwear pattern from the LP inside. Bottom of sleeve looks much, much better. Spine intact, with all text legible. Ditto for the top seam. Left-handed corners are sharp; right-hand corners stubbed but intact. Both seams intact.
Back panel has stained areas on top upper third. Sticker residue to top right. Lower two-thirds of back panel are clean and sharp. Some light rubwear to bottom. Overall, because of the stained areas, this sleeve is a solid VG+.
VINYL: Very pretty, thick vinyl has only a few stray superficial scuffs and dings. It sounds GREAT, as you can discern from the above sound sample. Blue/silver Canadian steamboat labels are clean and smooth. Good-sounding, clean deep grooves. This disc rates a strong EX.
