The debut record from this master, recorded in Germany in '75 and released in early '76.

It features his trio with 2 other master musicians

- Jaco Pastorius on his fretless bass and Bob Moses on the drums.

Though it did not sell well ( ha, I got this copy though!), it has since been recognized by the Library of Congress as a "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant " 👊🏼

It's a jazz fusion classic that should be in every collection!


This is from my personal collection, purchased in '76, shrink wrap removed and shelved.

This is my duplicate copy that has

NEVER been played. It's an exquisitely squeaky clean and minty-fresh piece of wax!

The cover is also mint - those ECM records are sweet and sturdy and beautiful...

Even in '76, ECM put their records in awesome inner sleeves ( which is still here in this offering) but it is now in mofi style archival inner and outer sleeves.
