Description

TREASURED first pressing of Patti Smith's critically-acclaimed debut album from 1975 - bought by me when released and kept with care ever since.
Matt outer cover, plain inner sleeve and both sides of vinyl are all in very good+ condition.
Some shelf wear/creasing around outside edges of cover - consistent with age and regular playing when released in 1984 - corners are still good and artist/album name clearly visible along the spine. Both faces (front and back) are free of significant dings/dents - just a few spots of discolouration.
Light blue and white Arista labels are near-perfect.
Vinyl has some mild surface marks - most of them consistent with being played on good-quality hi-fi separates system - and retains some of its original gloss. "ARTY 122 A 1U" stamped into A side runout with"ARTY 122 B 1U" stamped into B side runout.
Side one tracks: Gloria, Redondo Beach, Birdland, Free Money. Side two: Kimberly, Break It Up, Land, Elegie.
