A first issue UK album in original condition, featuring:

1. Patti Smiths 1975 UK ‘debut’ LP,

2. original shop sticker on the front top, right corner on the sleeve,

3. original UK first issue record matrix of: 1U/1U,

4. original first issue 1975 UK blue / black ‘Arista’ ‘ridged’ record labels,

5. comes with its original, ‘Arista’ inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition. The spine is in very good++ condition and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. There are NO splits, tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve. There is a slight ‘water mark’ to the front right, bottom corner / rear left bottom corner.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition and is the original ‘Arista’ company inner sleeve. An excellent clean, white original inner sleeve. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: side one is in excellent condition. Side two is in excellent++ condition. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The records matrix is: ARTY 122 A 1U and ARTY 122 B 1U, side two have the number ‘11’,

The mother / stampers are: N/A.

THE AUDIO: each side of the record plays excellent. Overall, each side of the record plays with excellent quiet grooves. The record plays with a full loud, powerful period stereo sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in near MINT condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVE, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
