Description
Paul Chambers Sextet "Whims of Paul Chambers" Blue Note BLP 1534
Very Rare Original Pressing 767 Lexington Ave. NY. NY. on both sides. Very thick heavy pressing. Has hand etched RVG and the "EAR". Also BLP-1534 hand etched in run-out. Deep Groove. A terrific album with 6 of the best players of the time at their peak. A must in any jazz collection
Please read this listing carefully:
Cover: Front and Back are in Very Nice condition. The Bottom seam is split the entire length. Top Seam and Spline are good. All printing is legible.
Vinyl: Side 1 (G). There is a scratch that runs through most of the side. Back ground noise present but not terrible. It causes an audible tick/pop to reveal in the 3rd Track. The record plays through fine. NO SKIPs. Side 2 (VG-) plays with some slight noise. Overall still an enjoyable listen. Note: turntable tracked at 1.75 grams played through a very revealing preamp-amp and speakers.
