PAUL CHAMBERS “Whims of Chambers” RVG, DG, FR, Lex, Blue Note 1534 Mono Vinyl
This is the Deep Groove, RVG etched, Frame Cover pressing of PAUL CHAMBERS’ “Whims of Chambers” on the “767 Lexington Ave / 47 West 63rd New York 23” labels of Blue Note BLP 1534.
VINYL plays well overall with consistent light surface noise in spots, pops and ticks, some repeating. Above the static, music is dynamic, powerful and clean. OK gloss. A handful of hairline marks, a couple feelable. (If you can’t feel it you won’t hear it). Deep Groove “767 Lexington Ave / 47 West 63rd New York 23” labels are relatively clean with spindle wear. See photos.
Frame Cover is in decent shape. Corners worn. Bottom 1/4 of jacket shows streaks or marrs, and large hunk out of lower right hand corner. Seams and spine are worn. "BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 767 Lexington Ave, New York 21" back jacket shows ringwear, aging, and mirror giant hunk out of lower left corner. Please see photos.
This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC AUDIO DESK SYSTEME VINYL PRO CLEANER.
