TITLE : PAUL CHAMBERS - bass on top LP
LABEL / CAT # : BLUE NOTE / BLP 1569 (MONO)
COUNTRY / YEAR OF RELEASE : USA / 1957
DESCRIPTION : Rare late-'50s BLUE NOTE jazz album from legendary bassist PAUL CHAMBERS,
with KENNY BURRELL, HANK JONES & ART TAYLOR.
I believe this is an early (possibly FIRST?) pressing with the following specifics used to identify:
RVG & 'ear' stamped into run-out, No 'r' on label + 47 west 63rd NYC address. Deep MICROGROOVE both sides.
These details combine to date this as a First Press (or possibly early 2nd)?

...ORIGINAL USA PRESSING (see attached pics)
CONDITION : Vinyl: EXCELLENT-/VG+ (few light surface marks & minor hairlines only).
Plays through well. No skips or 'feelable' scratches, expect a little crackle/static in places - listen above.
In front-laminated picture sleeve: EXCELLENT+/EX (nice and clean with solid seams.
front cover: very light laminate wear. bottom left corner (only) has storage wear.
back cover: old price sticker + small amount of ring wear
*With BLUE NOTE inner sleeve, not 100% sure if it's original/correct - see attached images
