Description
THE COMPLETE RECORDINGS OF THE PAUL DESMOND QUARTET WITH JIM HALL
MOSAIC BOXED SET: MR6-120
LIMITED EDITION: 7500 ALBUMS PRESSED
CONDITION: NEAR MINT
This is another album that I purchased directly from Mosaic starting in the late 1980's. The vast majority of these (including this one) were played only ONCE and then set aside as part of a non-playing collection which I hoped would increase in value as the years passed.
The six LP's in this album are in near mint condition. The bottom rear of the box has a 2" narrow slit on the back edge. It is not visible from the front. There are several extremely narrow scratches on the lower right hand section of the cover art(see picture). The booklet, which contains a complete discography of the album's performances, is in near mint condition. This discography is invaluable to serious jazz collectors.
Mosaic albums have set the reissue standard for content, liner notes, discographies, and quality of pressings
