Here is a very RARE LP with voice actor extraordinaire PAUL FREES at the helm. "Paul Frees and The Poster People" was released around 1970 and features Frees doing classic movie characters singing contemporary (of the day) pop songs. W.C. Fields doing "Mama Told Me Not To Come" Humphrey Bogart does "By The Time I Get To Phoenix" Peter Lorre does "Hey Jude" Bela Lugosi "The Games People Play" and Boris Karloff does "The Look of Love." Now in case you are not familiar with him, Paul Frees was the voice of Boris Badenov on the Bullwinkle characters and many other characters on the Jay Ward roster, like Captain Peter Peachfuzz. Also, Frees did many voices at Disneyland, inc the Haunted Mansion narrator, Pirates of The Caribbean, Moments with Mr. Lincoln, and The Enchanted Tiki Room. Frees was also two of the Beatles on the Beatles TV cartoons of the mid '60s on ABC. Frees did a ton of other voices, like the Pillsbury Doughboy and Professor Ludwig Von Drake for Disney's Wonderful World of Color. This LP is in STEREO and plays fine. It does have some surface scuffs on the LP and there is one noticeable scratch on tracks one and two on side two, but it plays through okay. I made a CD of this LP so I know it plays okay. The cover shows wear but is intact. Art is unmarked. Now, on backside of cover and this is what makes this a really RARE item, Paul Frees signed the album to me when I met him in the studio in 1971. He was recording tracks for the Jackson Five cartoon at the time. He was virtually all the voices other than the Jackson kids, who were played by other actors. Frees signed the back, "To Hal A real fine young man and a good fan. Best wishes, your friend, Paul Frees "Boris Badenov." Now I have never seen a Paul Frees autograph for sale here. So this is two collectibles in one item, an album and a signature. I know the autograph is authentic as he signed it in my presence at Sunset Sound recorders. 10 tracks in all.  Album # is SE 4735. While cover shows some wear it is certainly not in bad shape. Not mint. But a real RARE collectible with Paul's signature on it.
