Description
Scarce and excellent vintage jazz LP featuring SLIM GAILLARD on the VERVE label, from 1958.
Title is "Cookin'." Catalog number is ARGO LP-626, monaural.
Personnel: Paul Gonsalves – tenor sax; Clark Terry – trumpet; Willie Jones – piano; Jimmy Woode – bass; and Sam Woodyard – drums.

Jacket: Jacket is in nice VG+ to VG++ condition, with nice bright art work and clean reverse. Reverse displays four faint, thin moisture stains across the top. No writing or stickers. Seams and spine are reasonably nice except for a bit of minor cracking on top seam and a very small split just beginning to develop at bottom right corner. Overall a very decent jacket.
Vinyl: Vinyl is beautiful VG++, retains full brilliant gloss, appears to have been played a relatively small number of times and handled with care. Labels are clean. Both sides display a couple very slight hairline scuffs that produce nothing more than a soft tic or two. No serious marks or problems, the album plays beautifully throughout with superb fidelity. I think the winning bidder will be quite pleased.
